I'm from Philly originally and I was heartbroken because I couldn't get any good pizza in LA. I found Pizza Cookery with it's free garlic rolls, killer caeser salads, and truely original pizza and I put on some serious pounds. The crust is unusually thin and doughy... you can't really hold a piece in your hands (you're in knife and fork country here) as it is too thin. But that is the magic! The sauce is dynamite and their cheese and peperoni are top notch. Come hungry and you'll be full of their amazing garlic rolls before you ever see your pizza.

Been going here my whole life (30+ years) -- very hard to beat the pizza, though judging by the other reviews, you either love it or hate it. Great for coming in to eat, or ordering out, and the beer pitchers are a nice treat if you're there with some friends and live nearby. Service is nice, and it's a family-run establishment.

The pizza Cookery has great pizza and great salads. Their bread is to die for! When I go with a friend we can easily split a salad, and have the bread and be full. I have been coming here for years!

I've been a customer of this owner operated rustic Italian restaurant for years. Their salad are very large (even the small size) and full of fresh ingredients. I love the minestrone soup, but the family favorite is the fresh hot garlic cheese rolls. We always stop for lunch when we shop at Topanga Plaza.
