It seems quite suspect that after a bad one star review in December of '08 that eight different people would write stellar five star reviews all on the same day, January 29, 2009. Their names have the same pattern, name followed by two digits...just seems a little weird to me and I don't want to go with a company the writes it's own reivews.

My cat Lily has a thyroid condition that requires daily medication. She has wised up to all the tricks of putting the pill in food, a pill pocket, etc. She can be difficult to medicate. I hired The Pet Staff for the 4th of July holiday...Kudos to the cat sitters! They had no problem giving her pills.They said she fussed at first but were able to do do it with no issues! My cat sitter called me every day with an update on my Lily. I highly recommend this service!

I was nervous about using a company and not a friend to take care of my two cats. After reading positive reviews of The Pet Staff and having no option of a friend watching them, I chose the Pet Staff. The experience could not have been better. On two different trips, once for two days and the other for over two weeks, they were great. I received frequent emails updating me on my cats. When we had the earthquake a week or two I emailed the Pet Staff asking for an immediate update and they responded right away once to let me know they would contact the sitter and again soon after to give me the update. In a 2+ week trip I only had two sitters and both were great about updates.

When I came home it was obvious my two cats and home had been well taken care of. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I recently accepted a job that requires a lot of traveling. I needed to find a pet sitter quickly and was nervous since I had never had one before. I was worried about trusting my babies to someone else and allowing someone into my home. But after one phone call with The Pet Staff my fears were put to ease. The person I spoke with on the phone was very knowledgeable and friendly. She helped me select a schedule that worked well for me and my girls. When I returned home from my trip I returned to my mail neatly stacked, no dead plants and two very happy dogs! I LOVED the notes left by the sitters after every visit! I felt like I hadn't missed a thing and I knew my babies were well taken care of. I now travel with a little less stress knowing The Pet Staff is taking wonderful care of my babies.

I love my cat and didn't want to leave him with a stranger but I was going to be gone for 2 weeks. I checked into several companies and The Pet Staff seemed to be good. But...
1. I made it known that I wanted to meet the sitters who would be watching my pet and was charged extra to meet another besides the initial sitter. I was told that unless there was an emergency that those two would definitely be watching my cat. I was never told about any emergency yet 5 additional people visited my home and my cat. A total of 7 people over 2 weeks.
2. I was also told that I would receive email updates since I was going to be out of the country. Over the 15 days, 2 visits per day, 30 total visits... only 6 emails.
3. When I returned, I found a cat that was not very happy and one who had lost some weight. It upsets me that I let my cat down by trusting this company. He was probably so anxious with all the different people.
4. All of this for over $700 (extra visits, gratuity). Anyone is better off finding a friend or neighbor. These people do not keep their word and are not concerned about the pet or the pet's owner. They do what's best for them and will lie to you to do it.
My only hope is that you learn from my mistakes. I know I have!
