I've had the same person do my hair from the time I was in highschool until about 4 years ago when she quit hairstyling. After countless tries at many many many other salons, I ended up at Hair Show Day Spa in Garner. Loved it. Totally worth the $ and time spent there. Erica does my hair and she's awesome. I just tell her what I dont want my hair to look like and takes it from there and I always end up with a perfect cut.

I found this wonderful salon when I first moved to the area over 3 years ago. I am very particular when it comes to my hair - expertise of stylist, costs, etc. - as I have had a couple of bad experiences in my lifetime. First, everywhere else I called and looked wanted a fortune to cut and color my hair; and as an avid bargain shopper, I could not see paying $200 to $300 to get my hair done. Here I never pay over $120 to get my hair done (and this includes a nice tip for my stylist)!

Secondly, my stylist, Melissa, does a great job on my cuts and color! She is very knowledgeable and honest when it comes to discussing styles, etc. Since coming to her 3 years ago, no one else in the Raleigh area has touched my hair (and never will as long as I live here). Melissa not only has great skills as a stylist, she is a very nice young lady with a great personality and customer service skills to match!

Lastly, the salon itself is wonderful! The other stylists are always friendly. The atmoshere is nice and relaxing. The decor is modern and up-to-date. The entire salon is always neat and clean!

I have been serviced by the same stylist at The Hair Show and Day Spa for nearly 9 years now. She is so great with my hair. She know exactly what I will like. More often than not I go in there with no specific style or color in mind yet she always seems to leave it looking as though it was what I always wanted. The other stylists who work there are very friendly and speak every time. It is a fun atmosphere. The salon is very trendy and up-to-date on all of the current fashions. The owner is very nice and is always very friendly. My hair stylist is also the stylist for most of my friends and family. Anyone in search of a great look at a reasonable price should definitely check out The Hair Show and Day Spa....particularly Julie (my stylist). She's awesome!

There is a new stylist at the Hair Show - Jessica Davey. I have been a long time customer of hers and have never been disapointed with anything she has done with my hair and most of the time she is given free rien. I was so excited to learn that she joined the hair show. She by far is the best colorist I have ever had, taking me from any shade of dark chocolate, to platinum blonde, and every time it looks amazing. No red or orange tint, and always a unique and one of a kind color job. She cuts styles that I have not seen come out of a solon in our area ever. She has a fashionable edge, and an honest eye for what will look best on your hair. Most of my friends get their hair done by her, as well as co workers, all because of what a phenominal job she does on my hair. No other stylist will ever touch my hair again!

I had an 11:30 appointment with Jennifer this would of been my second haircut with her. I arrived 10 mins. early upon checking in with Jennifer she said she was running late. I asked how late? She said about an hour! I asked why she had not called me as a courtesy? She claimed she didn't have my number! When I had called to make my appointment she asked me for my name and number. She was clearly grabbing at straws for an excuse for her mistake. I will never go back and would never recommend them to any one! Horrible customer service and very unprofessional!
