Awesome italian restaurant. They have amazing - mind blowing lasagne which is my favorite italian dish. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is really great. The price is reasonable and it's an overall great experience. I highly recommend it.

The Godfather restaurant has been an institution in Kearny Mesa. It's always been a place for those of us in Kearny Mesa to take business meetings, or clients. As restaurants go in Kearny Mesa, this is upscale, but that is not saying a whole lot.

The food is good, as is the service. It is not mind blowing amazing, but it is quality, consistent and fresh. The service has always been fine, especially during some of those busy lunch rushes.

Would I go out of my way to go to the Godfather? No, but if I was in the area and wanted Italian food, I would not rule it out.

this place has the best lasagna in town. this has to be one of my favorite places to eat. I love the atmosphere here and everyone is so nice and friendly when you come in. The godfather makes it seem intimidating but its not. the service is great and everyone caters to your needs. there are many other dishes that they serve and they are all delicious. the pastas are yum. they have this pesto pasta that will blow your mind. the breadsticks are hot and crispy and the price is pretty reasonable for some dishes. overall this place is great to go eat during lunch and what not.

The lasagna did me in. It's the menu item that separates the men from the boys and as far as I'm concerned their combination of noodles, marinara, meats, and cheeses is the best part of the dish. If you come you'd be stupid not to give it a go. It comes with soup or salad and some friend zucchini as a complimentary app, which is not only tasty, but completely outside of the box of what other places do.
