This is the 4th time my dog has been at this excellent resort. 2 years ago I lost my son tragically and the dog would not always obey me. He is a pitbull and I wanted to be a responsible pitbull owner.He was professionally trained by Jason. My dog is happy, listens and when he is picked up he is full of licks and kisses.I have gone on vacation twice for 21 days each time and when I am back my dog is always well cared for. I enjoy the progress reports he receives on a daily basis. 2 weeks ago my dog and I were attacked by a dog while walking. I had no where to place my dog for after care(medications, dressing changes to his neck, vet visit). Jason and his staff accomadated us both. As an R.N. I am used to excellent customer service and I received almost daily calls from Jason to update on my dog. I do not agree with the negative comments posted. I drive 3 hours roundtrip so that my dog can be at FOLSOM DOG RESORT and I will place my dog nowhere else.‎

We recently took our very active lab to be boarded while we went out of state. Before he was boarded, he had horrible anxiety and would panic when you left his sight. We couldn't even leave him outside alone. When we picked him up, we were amazed that he no longer had that anxiety. He could be outdoors without us and the panic went away. We then decided to have him professionally trained there due to the impact they had on him just simply boarding him. He had some of the worst issues and the highest energy, he was a chewer, an escape artist, a jumper, and would constantly knock people over with his unruly behavior. When we got him back from the training he was a different dog. He listens!!! We have had NO issues with him. The best of all NO CHEWING! A 10 month old lab that overcame chewing! They are the nicest staff, they answer any question, they will spend hours with you, and they CARE!!! I would recommend this facility to ANYONE! We have used them quite a bit and I am absolutely ...

My dog had a great time at the Folsom Dog Resort. We went away for the Labor Day weekend and left our 10 month old puppy for four days. Without question, we were comfortable in our decision and when we returned we found the puppy healthy, energized and happy. She was excited to see us and the staff shared that she loved playing with other guests and loved "swimming" in the splash pool. I have no reservations leaving my pet at the "Resort" and found the staff friendly and professional. The facilities were clean and grounds appeared to be well maintained. I will recommend the "Resort" to my friends and neighbors. In fact, I am amazed at bad reviews about this place. Oh well, I guess you can't please everyone.‎

I am very impressed with Folsom Dog Resort! The experience I had is not at all the negative one I see posted here in a few reviews, quite the contrary! I found myself in an awkward situation, and Folsom Dog Resort not only helped me out, but they solved my problem and made my life a lot easier. I was in the process of adopting a young, large breed dog from someone who could no longer keep him, and I was also in the middle of a move. The problem was that the home I was moving into was still being renovated, I have other animals, and I was concerned that this transition would be difficult for the new dog. I made a plan and called around. Until I reached Folsom Dog Resort, I was beginning to think that I would not be able to do this-- The person who answered the phone (Jordona) was friendly, well informed and went out of her way to help me. Just wanted to drop a note and say my dogs and I have had a great experience at the Folsom Dog Resort. The staff and owners are always willing to go the extra mile for my dogs. I know when my dogs stay here they are well cared for.‎
