The Evergreen desperately needs a face lift, although maybe this will translate into savings for you. Their is a fun sports-bar, typically overrun with business folk in town for a convention. I would look elsewhere before booking here.

The Evergreen's location, far from the lifts and gondola, is why the cost is so reasonable for a resort like Vail. The hotel is clean, the rooms average. There is a 24 hour front desk, an activities desk, fridges in all rooms, some have fireplace, some have kitchenettes. The free town shuttle stops here. All restaurants and shopping are within walking distance or the shuttle. On premises there is a great sports bar. Outdoor heated pool and hot tubs on the grounds. An average hotel complex with prices that make it a deal.
