Very cool, unique combination of head shop, art store, music, greeting card, book & clothing store. A real OB icon. There is no other store like it in San Diego or anywhere else I've been. If you are looking for a unique gift this is a great place to go. There always seem to be some interesting characters in there working and shopping.

This place is fun! I have always been artistic and love the creative spirit bead stores always have! They make you think you can string up anything and make it look wonderful! I stumbled into this bead shop on one day as I was aimlessly walking along Newport. I was enchanted! There were so many beads to choose from and the ladies in the shop were very willing to help with suggestions, tips and how to demonstrations. Not to mention the four new necklaces and bracelets I couldn't wait to get home and start on! This place is fun and the beads are cheap so go in there and bet your bead on!!

I used to frequent this bead shop at least once a month, and then they lost my business very quickly. The owner or manager was exceptionally rude to me while I was in the store, inquiring about prices, discounts, etc. I used to go her out of location and conveience, and not because of their 'fabulous' (read: expensive) prices. Its worth the gas and time to other SD bead stores that have better prices and more friendly service. I dont even want to give them 1 star.
