Favorite hotel in New York
Yes, we have not stayed in every hotel in New York, but of the ones this is by far our favorite. The service is first class. The rooms are a great size, esp. if you can get one of the deals on their website for a suite. You also get to choose your bed pillow from a menu (funny thing is...we ended up liking the ones we started with). My wife loves the new spa they have. Everytime we are staying NYC we try to stay at the Benjamin

Money with its Worth by ray s. at InsiderPages
If you ever have wanted to have your own place in NYC this is the place. The one bedroom suite was just perfect to accomplish this. First the staff. They did everything right. Always a hello, good morning, is your stay going well... etc, but never with that hotel feel. They felt like YOUR doormen, your concierge, your staff, never any false impressions. Location is great. We do not like the tourist areas of NYC and generally stay away from them, but if you do you are only 4 blocks from Rockefeller Center, AOL Time Warner, 3 blocks from 5th Avenue, 2 blocks from St. Patricks to give you an idea of location. The Only thing I like the most was the internet access throughout the entire hotel complex, I can get reception anywhere which I needed for business back in california.

Too expansive by Gen E. at InsiderPages
More of a business hotel than a tourist one. We payed extra for a suite and when booking requested a room on a high floor, we were given one on the lowest (3rd) floor. Nice customer service I don't think.
