its Really hard to find honest people. My son's engine fried, I got alot of quotes from alot of places, everyone wanted to increase their original quotes on me before the work even began, but I found Don and Dean to be my best bet, and I was right. They treated me with respect, and did an outstanding job. I am in the Car buisness myself, and they even beat what my dealership would have charged me, and did it in a timely manner. Have Engine problems Call Don!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will definately recommend them and use them again in the future.

I bought a car with a bad engine for a fair price to fix up for my daughter's graduation. I asked around for a dependable engine rebuild and was referred to Texas Motor exchange. Don runs the place and explained the different options between a short block and long block rebuild. After a deposit of $500 and a detailed inspection, we decided we needed the more expensive long block. It took a bit longer than originally promised but the work was done right and we have a solid warranty, I am a happy customer and would refer anyone to this company.‎

I had my Mazda at a local mechanic shop for a head gasket job. I drove it in, and towed it out. Don gave me a ball park figure of $2100.00 to rebuild the engine plus tax. (AND HE TOWED IT IN FOR FREE) I actually paid $2800.00 when it was over. Don explained that if he replaced the maintenance items I had neglected to take care of, like water pump, belts, hoses, and injectors, I would only pay for the parts. The labor was for free, unlike the other shop that didn't repair my Mazda. At most shops like Firestone and Goodyear, you pay labor for every part they change. I'm very happy with what I paid Don, and even more happy with the money I saved with the free labor. Don told me that it was free labor because the engine was already removed, so all I paid was for the parts. I WILL RECOMEND THIS COMPANY TO EVERYONE.‎

I am very happy with the work done to my car. It hasn't run so good in years! My gas mileage has improved and it has better power! Being a woman, I didn't know if I would be treated with respect, but I felt very comfortable with all transactions. I totally will recommend Texas Motor Exchange to all my friends.‎
