I have purchased hundreds of dollars worth of drinks from this store. The first owner was great, but sold the store to a local family. Their drinks are great, but the service has been less than inviting. I just ignored the grumpiness of the (female owner) cashier, so I can buy a tasty boba tea at least 2 times a week for the past year, if not more. I am not very adventerous when it comes to tasting something new, but one day, unfortunately, I ordered the avocado drink because I heard good reviews on it. I didn't like it much and asked if I could get something else that I would enjoy and I was told you get what you order, we don't guarantee that you will like what you order. After being a regular customer, never complained, I kind of expected something better than that. After waiting for about half hour (and great persistence), I was able to get a refund. I was insulted on many levels, so I will not go back to that store. If you don't mind a grumpy cashier and no guarantee that you will like the beverage (remember, you can't exchange it for something else) then I would recommend it to you. However, if you enjoy good service and a satisfaction guarantee, then don't go.

The first time I walked into Tapioca I was unsure, but to my amazement, their drinks are my favorite. They are the only place that I know of that puts boba into your drinks or jelly. They also make a great dessert with their drinks called crepes and I don't know any other place that sells them. The prices are high, but is worth paying because you can't find it any other place. I would recommend this place to people who like to try new things and also just to people who like tea, slushys, and milk.
