Yes, its small and yes, its not in the best area, but all the people around sure know what it is, and that says a lot. Takahashi's has been around for along time, providing a lot of hawaiian goods (i.e. hurricane popcorn, Locals' sandals) and the common japanese necessities that a person would usually find in a japanese mart at decent prices. They also have a mini ordering station for cold food to store, warm food, or fresh hot food depending on when a person wants to eat. The service here is always friendly and comforting
