I was highly recommended to Jovan by a couple of very good friends. It took me a while to go in due to the fact that I have had the same stylist now for about 4 years. I have pretty mousy hair. Its unruly, frizzy- doesn't really hold a curl. When I walked in they took my jacket and offered me the usual- tea or coffee.
Jovan came around the corner and I was presently suprized on how inviting he was. He automatically suggested the Brazilian Treatment and explained in detail on what it would do to my hair. I honestly didn't believe that it would do what He said. But, I gave it a try. I was extremely straight and he assured me that once I wash it, it would go back to its natural curly state with no frizz. I smiled and flipped my hair around a bunch with Jovan laughing at my gestures..

well, a week later and I am still flipping my hair. I have not had hair like this since I was about 10 years old!!! im now 32. Its insane.. Im not sure if the treatement is the miracle worker- or Jovan. But, I do know that Jovan hit it on the mark. The brazilian blowdry is amazing!!!!!

Jovan is the best!!

Jovan is so incredibly talented. He has a new process called a Brazilian Blowdry. I have shoulder length hair that is pretty curly/wavy but becomes GIGANTIC and very frizzy whenever I blowdry it. Jovan suggested the Brazilian Blowdry and now I HAVE BRAND NEW HAIR. It is so soft and shiny and it completely restored my hair. I am absolutely AMAZED at the difference. I finally have the hair that I have always been jealous of. The cut he gave me is the best I have ever had. He spent so much time and followed up with me the next day -- he's an absolute PERFECTIONIST. I think he actually cared more that I did -- and I care a lot. I have been to many hair salons all over the country and I have NEVER HAD ANYONE THIS TALENTED work on my hair. I wont go to anyone else!

I have been going to DESHANI for over 3 years. She's helped me obtain every shade of brown and when I was finally bored with brown she transformed me into a beautiful blonde without damaging my hair. She's professional, always flexible with MY schedule and I never received more compliments since going to her. I recently moved and she graciously wrote out my hair color formula and directions on an index card for me to take with me! You dont find many people willing to do that... she really cares about her clients and their satisfaction! I would recommend her to anyone!

For 2.5 years the only Person to touch my head has been Jovan. It is hard for to find the right stylist that can really give you what you ask for- really give you something more. I always change my look- I give Jovan an Idea and he never let's me down. He takes it beyond and above what is asked. He is extremely thorough and precise and never let's you out of the chair unless every single hair is in place. Fantastic. I am glad he finally found a salon that suits him and his clients' needs. I followed him from his last "salon" and I can tell you- this is where it's at!!
Go see Jovan . I doubt you'd regret it.

I have been going to Taboo since it first opened. I believe that I have had my hair cut by many of the stylists, Esther being one of them. She was amazing!!!! One of the best cuts I have had in a very long time!!!! I actually fly to LA from NY a few times a year to get my hair colored by Robert, who is amazing, probably one of the best in the world, but Aaron and Ernie are great themselves... I also have my haircut as well... I would trust about all the stylists there... And best of all is the big smile and great greeting you receive from Gina, the salon manager!! A great trendy warm atmosphere, with an amazing array of people to help you look your BEST!!!!
