Loved both food and ambience‎

After a great day of skiing we were hungry and looking forward to some good European food. We have been to Switzerland many times and we have enjoyed their traditional food like Raclette and Cheese Fondue but the Swiss Chalet was a bad surprise. The Swiss food was terrible. The Cheese Fondue too greasy and for two people just not even enough. The Spaetzle was overcooked, the Wienerschnitzel (not really Swiss but close to it!) had more fat than meat on it. The Salad that came with the food was boring and very tasteless. The American Food ordered by our friends seemed better. T-bone steak and Hamburger seemed eatable. Our review: overprized, service was poor and the swiss food was not good! Advice: Buy cheese fondue at any supermarket or trader joe's and you'll find better quality fondue than at this restaurant for ¼ of the price or find a good recipe and make it yourself. It is not hard and you'll find it better tasting than the greasy soup we had to eat!‎
