I am 43 years old and had only been on a horse ONE time before having my first English riding lesson with Monica at Sweetwater Ranch just a few days ago. I feel like I overcame my HUGE fear of horses in that ONE lesson. Her clear instructions and calm manner made riding so enjoyable. I am overjoyed to have found this wonderful refuge....a new path for my life in a place filled with friendly people, beautiful horses and amazing dogs!!! Monica has been so welcoming to me, making me feel right at home at her ranch. I'm thrilled to see what is ahead on this new adventure and know I'm in the right place to experience it! Having wanted to ride horses my entire life, and now having that opportunity to fulfill yet another life dream goes beyond words can express!

I love going out there everyday and being around the horses! It is a great place for begginers and experianced riders. I highly recomend this place for boarding and training and riding!

Sweetwater Ranch is a wonderful facility. The staff is caring and knowledgeable. My sister an I started riding lessons in our 30's. We knew Nothing about horses! Monica helped us to build confidence and we had such a great time under her patient, encouraging guidance that our 60 year old dad decided to take lessons also! We would often take lessons as a family and finish up with a nice trail ride through the beautiful high desert.
Monica has wonderful communication skills towards people and animals. She has the utmost concern for the safety of her clients and horses. Sweetwater Ranch is a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Highly recommended!
