WORST SERVICE, RUDE, OBNOXIOUS AND STALE PRODUCT!
I have attempted to order items from this establishment many times and NEVER have they got the order right. I have ordered ahead of time and when I go to pick it up, the order has NEVER been right! The cakes in the counter are NOT fresh, they are disgustingly OLD and Stale. How can a bakery sell merchandise as fresh when it's days old. I have come into the bakery just to check and the exact same cakes are still in the exact same place in the counter, day after day. You would think if you ordered something it would be fresh -- fat chance, not at this bakery. The manager is rude, obnoxious and does NOT know how to give customer service. I called to check on the time the bakery closes and they recite an incorrect time. After traveling several miles, I walk up to the door to find it's locked, closed an hour before I was told the time they closed when I called.
I called the manager back, who by the way is rarely available, works odd hours and I told her my experience. Her reply was, what do you want me to do about it? I would suggest closing your doors, FOREVER if you can't handle business. I also now know why they aren't in Alamo anymore, not due to the fact that they didn't get their lease renewed, but the place was DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY!! It's amazing more people haven't experienced food poisoning. If you are smart, go to Danville Bakery, they have excellent customer service and they get the orders right!
It's pretty upsetting when you order something special for a special birthday or celebration, go to pick it up and A Sweet Affair acts stupid like you never called with an order. I have even driven down and personally placed an order only to go to pick it up and NADA, no order.
I have no clue how a place like this can stay in business....simply amazing.
