My husband is pretty picky when it comes to sushi, and he loves how fresh it is, and it tastes great ever time. But we both have come to hate how slow the service is. We have been there many times and the chief is nice and always busy so we don't expect to get it quick when he has lots of other orders. But there have been times when we didn't get soy sauce dishes etc. Its a great place if you have the patients for the food wait and the servers.‎

Sushi House is by far the best Sushi spot in the whole San Diego area. Family owned and operated they really learn your name, order etc. They are awesome people and really show interest in you an your family. The food is awesome, and it is very affordable. Not even 5 miles from here there is another sushi place who charges triple what they charge at Sushi House! I have been there plenty of times when the owner and cook have brought out things that weren't even on the menu and didn't charge us for it either! This is my favorite restaurant! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!‎

I go here all the time and am always greeted very nicely and sat down quickly. Food is great and fresh and very inexpensive, definitely recommended!‎

When we walked in, there were people waiting to pick up their orders to go. We wanted to eat in and waited for the lady to greet us, she looked at us and said nothing. I assumed she was busy and would seat us when she had the chance, another group walked in and she asked them, "how many?" I looked at her and said, excuse me, but we came here first. She did not apologize and just told us to sit at a dirty table. She came back with a dirty rag, wiped the table down, then with the dirty rag, wiped the soy sauce bottle cap. I was disgusted and angry with the service that we got there. We ended up leaving and eating at bentos and noodle at the terra nova plaza.‎

As soon as we walked into the resraunt we felt up lifted by the atmosphere. The food was deliciuos and generously served. As well, very pleasing to the eyes. So the presentation was top flight. The people are fabulous. Great place. "Shifty"‎
