The chef is almost always drunk and incoherent. His inane ramblings make the already extraordinarily long wait seem like a prison sentence. I wouldn't eat here again if you were treating and had me at gun point. BLAH!?!?!?!‎

Sushi 21 is by far the best Sushi bar I have been to. And I have been to many. The All-You-Can-Eat deal is the best, not only in Oceanside but in all of Southern California. They always treat me very well and serve very fresh fish. The service is impeccable and its rarely crowded so you get what you order very quickly. Jason the Sushi Chef is very personable and a pleasure to be around. He is funny and engaging and you will always walk away very satisfied. For the price and service it simply cannot be beat and I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else

my husband and i went there for the first time.. it is by far ther only decent sushi bar in town. the chef jeremy is so great. trust me it is great

I can't wait to move back to oside...haha mostly for sushi 21! My husband and I go at least once a week if not more...Jeremy is hilarious and a good person!! Can't wait for that sushi! You can't find better out where i'm from.

I've been to many local sushi restaurants, and this one is by far my favorite. The food tastes wonderful, looks amazing, and most of the staff are very delightful (with the exception of one or two), and is well worth the fairly low prices. I've been to places that cost a lot more and had food that couldn't compare to here. There's just a friendly atmosphere, as well. People talk to one another and have fun, even if they've never met before. Try it, you'll love it!
