Dr. Wideroff operated on a relative of mine. He has an excellent reputation with other physicians and with the medical staff at Delray Medical Center. In fairness to him, he has done a fine job from what I can tell although my relative is still recuperating. However, you are going to have to be prepared for someone who's style is a little "different". Trying to find the right words here ... he is certainly nice, but I would describe his style as sometimes indirect, and his explanations as not as satisfactory as with other physicians that I have dealt with. He's opinionated and perhaps not as compassionate as other physicians. But everyone has a different personality and a different bedside manner. That doesn't necessarily take away from his technical expertise. I will update this if I find differently during my relative's recovery ... but so far, so good.

I was seen by Dr. Wideroff on Aug 10 2007 As a referral for breast surgery since i have been diagnosed with breast carcinoma. I was asked to bring my films and all reports which I did. My husband was with me during the visit. Dr. Wideroff was arrogant, uninformed, never reveiewed my reports nor my studies. He made unprofessional and uncaring statements to me. I have been an RN for 35 yrs and never encountered a physician so lacking in every way. I later found out he does Thyroidectomies and Insertion of AV shunts for Dialysis. I have since obtained a Breast Oncologist Surgeon who deserves his reputation of excellence. I would not recommend any woman with Breast Cancer to Dr. Wideroff he is was AWFUL AWFUL and not someone to count on if your life is hanging in the balance.
