Overall: I grew up surfing but that doesn't mean I am a good teacher. So when my college roommate came for a visit and wanted to learn to surf I knew I needed some outside help. The Surf Diva Surf School was such a great experience!! My roommate learned how to surf in her own private lesson. She even went back the next day to do a group lesson with some other surf students. After learning the basics and getting really comfortable on then board and in the water we were able to go out together. She had such a great time and even got to shop in their store after her lesson.
Value: Surf Diva's prices were so reasonable for the professional instruction that was given in both the private and group lessons.
Service: The instructors were so professional, energetic, and knowledgeable. All of them are lifeguard certified which made my friend feel so safe and comfortable in the water. They gave my friend so much confidence in the water. I also found out that Surf Diva is a permitted surf school by the City of San Diego unlike other surf schools who operate illegally.
Quality: My friend stood up in her very first lesson! The office staff was so helpful when I booked the lesson over the phone, and the girls in the shop were very friendly. Overall it was such a great experience for myself and my friend who wanted to learn to surf.
Pros : Great service, professional and friendly staff, safe and encouraging environment, great prices.
Cons : Leave some extra time for parking at the beach
