I never tried a Supercuts before, but I decided to give it a try since I haven't been able to find a good barber down here in San Diego yet (I'm from the Bay Area, where I can find a great hair cut for 11 dollars plus 2 dollars in tip).

I was pretty disappointed in this place. The haircut was not very good, and it took longer than I am used to. But what pushed it over the edge was the price. My haircut was nearly 20 dollars when all said and done! Definitely did not get a 20 dollar quality hair cut. I'm sorry but I will not be coming back here again.

Rushes through haircuts, at least for me, and leaves many parts uneven. And treated my head a lawn, and it felt like she was pulling my hair out by force. Didn't seem to even notice me wincing or maybe she just didn't care. Anyway, the point is, do not go to this place. The haircuts are overpriced and the quality is horrible.‎

Supercuts is an evil company. The franchise owners of this site are SCUM. I was a customer of "We Care Hair" for more than 5 years, before these SCUM moved in with minimum-wage barbers, purchased "We Care Hair", and did a LOCKOUT in 2007. All the "We Care Hair" employees WERE NOT TOLD that the shop was being closed. This is collusion between the new owners and old owners of this barbershop. The "We Care" employees showed up for monday work, and the shop's name had changed, new minimum-wage scabs were doing haircuts in the chairs, and all the old employees were notified - THEY DAY THEY SHOWED UP - that their shop had closed - they were all fired! If the new owners of this ripoff chain-store treat employees like this, how will they treat your hair? I mean really, HOW MUCH DO THEY CARE ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN UNETHICAL MEANS TO MAKE PROFIT ...

I always went to high-priced salons, but with this economy. . . So I tried Supercuts and was pleasantly surprised! They did a good job, and the people are very nice. ...

I'm always nervous before I get a haircut, but these girls made me feel at ease. Down to earth, easy to communicate with, understanding, and artistic. The prices are great too. I would recommend Supercuts to any of my friends!‎
