Never did I think Id have to worry about my sun being in this daycare.........I dropp him off almost everyday thinking my child will have a great day there,but NO he constantly crys his eyes out making me wonder,But mommy has to go to work,I give it to rest for a few weeks and still yet hes doing the same thing and is extatic to see me when I come and pick him up.If its not one thing its another biting,bruises of "Oh he fell on his head or off the corner of the play area" wake up thier kids and need supervision in everything they do otherwise they wouldnt have an owie in the first place!!!!!!!!!!So I do some research and it still continues non-stop reports on hitting scratching and so fourth,No kind of change it gets worse and worse.Ive spoke to a couple teachers who are great at thier jobs and need more acknowledgment in there work and deserve to be at a higher daycare and Ive spoke to few teachers who need more knowledge in working with children in general.My child is such ...

This place is the worst place I have ever had my child enrolled in. The administration is horrible, all they care about is the money!! They treat their employees and children like dirt. My child would come home with nightmares about a child who would hit on him everyday. And I am not talking about a hit in the arm, I am talking bout kick in the face and chest and punching in the head. They would do absolutely nothing about this child and I know there were other complaints about this child from other families as well. As much as they charge per care you would think they would serve better food, have better materials, better equipment, and nicer toys. They could care less about anyone but themselves. The front office is a joke, they are completely lazy. Never willing to lend an extra hand to anyone. I am a retired Anchorage school teacher. My grandson was enrolled in Sunshine Schools for several years. He looked forward to going to his school every day. The teachers were cheerful and helpful. I was amazed at their patience in helping the children on and off with all the winter clothing so the kids could go outside every day.

I enjoyed watching the classroom for a few minutes whenever I dropped Justin off or picked him up. He enjoyed participating in the various nursery rhymes, songs and stories. He was proud of all his art work and eager to show me his new fingerplays and sing his songs. I was glad to note that the art work was vaired and not all just coloring. I could tell they encouraged the children to experiment with various art mediums and enjoy the process.

Justin really blossomed and thrived under their direction. And I was happy to see that he was well cared for.
