After giving a reasonable estimate for replacement or refinishing of engineered oak floors, this team carefully sanded them to remove some weird coating the previous owner of the house had applied. The oak floors were beautiful so Dan and his family refinished them with a dark chocalate stain and 3 coats of poly. He also removed carpet from the stairs and installed oak wooden stair treads stained to match the floors. They worked long hours and the work was meticulous. This is a family business and they are very nice people who are very proud of their work - as they should be. I referred a co-worker to them and he was also very pleased with the outcome of his refinishing job. These guys are the best!‎

Dan is the owner of the business. He really made it easy for me to move into my new home after he refinished my hardwood in my entire house. He works with his family and a couple of workers and he is always there at the job site making sure things are done right. Very punctual young man and I really recommend him to anyone who wants hardwood floors.‎

My house previously had carpet flooring before Hurricane Ike. Our family had been on the fence as to whether or not to change to hardwood flooring. When the hurricane caused water damage, we decided to switch. We looked up nearby businesses that offered hardwood flooring online and we had found Dan's website for his business, Sunshine Hardwood Floors. We called him in to fix our house and we loved the work that he had done for the first floor so much that we changed the flooring on the stairs and second floor as well.‎

They re-did part of my floor, and also installed new flooring. About a year and a half later, it is cracking and separating throughout the ENTIRE floor, and has several actual HOLES in it just from walking on it!!!!! I called them, and they said they wouldn not fix it unless I paid them and accused me of abusing the floor. Oh, and by the way, they have a hefty minimum charge if I were to pay them to fix their shoddy work. Where I come from, hardwood floors are supposed to last more than a couple of years with normal wear and tear. If I wanted a throw-away floor, even carpet would have lasted me longer than flooring from Sunshine!‎
