Don't even think to call them. I gave couple of tries but not worth for a single try. Never on time.‎

I have used this cab company a few times over the years for local travel without any problems. The first week in December I had a business trip planned leaving from LaGuardia and planned on having a family member drop me off. At 5:30 AM, when we were leaving, the car totally died at the end of our block. Panic stricken, we went online and retrieved the phone number for Sunset Taxi. Amazingly, they were able to send a driver over within 20 minutes and enable me to make my flight! the driver was personable, courteous and professional. I would DEFINITELY recommend this company and certainly use them again, should the need arise.‎

I didn't know their reviews sucked so bad until I looked them up online. I was picked up at my office and driven promptly to the train station. In fact, I had 10 minutes until my train and I arrived early. I will ride again, but perhaps not during peak hours.‎

I used this company to get to JFK Airport and for the ride home. I was leery using them based on these reviews, but decided to anyway. The dispatchers and drivers were professional and courteous. I reserved a cab for 4:30 am on 8/3 and they were there on time (early in fact) The driver was professional and the ride uneventful. I booked a car for the return ride home on 8/08/09. When I landed at JFK I called Sunset and they advised that the cab was on the way and the driver would call my cell when he arrived. The driver called me and was at the airport before I even got my bags. He called me again, and informed me that he was unable to park because of security and he would circle the airport untill I was ready. When I got my bags I called Sunset who radioed the driver and told him my location. I was picked up a few minutes later and driven home, the driver was also very courteous and professional.
