Sunnyside Restaurant by janie m. at InsiderPages
We love this place!! When we are at Lake Tahoe with friends and family, this is one of our favorite places to dine. In fact we are going there next month and will probably go there.

Nice summer spot
The best time to go is in the summer, and sit on the outside deck. It gets crowed though on the weekends and holidays, so be ready to wait a little bit. The zucchini sticks and fish tacos are great! Don't bother with sitting in the main dining room, it's stuffy and not that good--the bar menu is far better and less pricey.

Great place by Paula H. at InsiderPages
Don't miss this place when visiting Lake Tahoe. It has the nicest patio, best view, and great food. Very popular Hula mud pie is a must have. If you are on your boat, you can dock here and have breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Hula Pie! by Andrea G. at InsiderPages
Sunnyside has a great atmosphere and an excellent menu. Over the summer I highly recommend eating outside. It may be a long wait, but worth it. Don't even consider leaving without ordering Hula Pie. If necessary, just come for the pie and eat dinner at the cabin.

Great view and good food by Debbie G. at InsiderPages
Sunnyside Restaurant at Lake Tahoe is a good place to go for lunch/dinner, with or without kids. For a more casual meal, dinner at the bar (inside or out) is always nice. The bar menu has a fairly good variety of dishes. For a more formal meal and extended menu, you can eat inside in the dining room, or out on the deck. Either way, the views are great. Also, you will need to make a reservation. You must try the ahi tuna (appetizer) and of course, Kimo's Hula Pie!

PROS: the view, kid-friendly, good food
CONS: can be a bit pricey
