I recently moved to SC and ended up getting pregnant. Everything was great most of my pregnancy but in November I had a TIA. The staff at this hosptial talked with me and made sure I understood all of the risks that could happen because I am pregnant. When I was in the L&D ward the nurses there couldn't have been more friendly. They were constantly checking on me and my husband to make sure we were ok and wanting to know if we needed anything. These women/men are an amazing group of people. Even the ER Staff who helped me with the TIA were awesome. I would recomend to anyone who reads those other posts, if you have a question about your care or you don't think they are doing something right or even that they are being negligent in your care "Speak Up". They are taking care of hundreds of people every day and you aren't their only patient at that moment so if you have to wait a few hours ok just check to make sure they havent forgotten about you.‎

What a joke! The staff of the unit I worked for had nothing but horrible things to say about EVERYONE; the unit director, other employees and patients!! Way to make someone feel welcome SMC!!!‎
