My wife and I began attending Sugarloaf UMC shortly after we were married and moved into the area in 2004. We loved the pastor's messages and began meeting people who, to this day, are some of our best friends. As another reviewer wrote, "There is no perfect church or perfect followers of Christ." I completely agree. I've seen so much growth and improvement in the church as well as in myself, my wife and my friends, but there is always room to improve and mistakes will be made. We are currently on our third pastor since my wife and I started attending SUMC. Stuart is genuinely passionate about what he teaches and everyone is encouraged to not only attend Sunday morning worship, but to GROW your relationship with Christ by studying and joining a small group (learning outside of the Sunday morning service) and SERVE by either serving the community through a program at SUMC or outside of church.
