FOOD POISONING! Sorry to be Debby Downer but last night I ordered a 12 inch meatball footlong from this Subway. I gleefully mowed it down while wrapping up the days work and headed to bed. I woke up around one o'clock seeing strange colors and feeling funny, sort of dreamy like. Soon my dazed and confused trip turned into a nightmare as I realized the pretty colors and hazy vision was from food poisoning that was about to send me bolting to the bathroom. For the next hour I hugged the porcelain god and proceeded to return my meatball sub to its rightful place, the sewer. In the end I payed much more than the $5 for this sub. Buyer beware, is subway cutting corners to keep their prices so low?
Pros : been great in the past, prices are low, maybe to low?
Cons : It comes out a lot worse than it tastes going down
They have 8 'flavors' to choose from... I especially enjoy the tuna extra toasted with the cheese all melted or the meatball again with the cheese all marinated. If you're looking for healthy they have many choices there as well.
This specific location is on the smaller side...maybe 4 tables and more of a takeout kind of set-up. It's right on Lomas Santa Fe so it's super convenient to get to from the Mojo offices and I will be going there more often now that I've found it!
The service was good, the staff was friendly and you really can't go wrong when you're choosing 'toppings' one by one!
Pros : Nice location; friendly staff.
Cons : Wish they had more toppings - sprouts, red bell peppers, etc.
