I went there to sell some old books i did not need any more. I was faced with the most despising, indifferent, obnoxious people. They barely talked to me, basically treated me like a convict, it was a horrendous experience. Next time, I'll just put my books to recycle...

This place is awesome. great place to browse in for books, literally find anything you want here, and you can most definitely spend your entire day here! It most probably isn't a store that you can walk in and out of, a store you'll stay in for hours pouring over numerous selection of books

The Strand, an enormous bookstore located on Broadway and 12th, offers the biggest collection of new and used books for sale in the city. Although the towering shelves and vast stock can be intimidating, one can easily spend an entire day there browsing about the various floors. The best bookstore, anywhere!
