I completely disagree! I just recently had a visit to Dr Stilp's office and his staff as well as Dr. Stilp were very delightful, respectful and reasurring. The reason his aide reads the x-rays and give a low down of what is going to take place during and after the surgery is because they have had the education and know exactly what they are talking about. It is also a important to list possible outcomes of the surgery because as with ANY surgery, the results may not go as planned, without being something that Dr Stilp caused. It may be for an example a result of the patient reacting to something he or she didn't know was allergic to. You never know. I think that if you want to write a bad review about someone than you have the freedom to do that, but before you do you might want to get your facts straight so you don't end up looking like an idiot!

I'm glad to see people can look past one patients opinion on Dr Stilp. I have worked in the dental field for 10 years and have heard wonderful things about him as a person and Oral Surgeon. My best friends niece had jaw surgery as a teenager when they are so worried about what everyone thinks and she and her family could not have been more pleased with everything from his staff to the final results. When having to speak to someone at his office for mutual patients they are helpful and friendly. I hope anyone who reads this will meet Dr Stilp and his staff before forming any opinion.

My first consult with Dr Stilp I thought he was rude and arragant. I was scared to have my wisdom teeth taken out and my intial appointment with him made it even worse. When it came down to the day of the surg. the staff was nice and calmed me down. Dr Stilp also did a 180 and was caring and understanding. Maybe he saw how frightend I was since my heart rate was like 102. Regardless, he took out my wisdom teeth and everything healed fine. I have the confidance to go to him again if I needed too.

Absolutely did not have a good time going to Dr. Stilp. He scheduled my surgery for about one hour and had my orthodontist waiting for me at his own practice to redo my braces after the surgery. The surgery took more than four hours because Dr. Stilp had to keep answering the phone. I was not happy, neither was my orthodontist. Nice office in a nice location, but definitely not recommended. He does wisdom teeth and has not been known as the best doctor for that either.
