"SHADY" Stevens Creek Hyundai...
Buyers BEWARE!

I'd like to share with anyone who is thinking about going to Stevens Creek Hyundai in San Jose, Ca...My car was stolen the day after Thanksgiving last November. After receiving my check from the insurance I was on the hunt for the perfect car. Finally on Feb. 14 my boyfriend came across my perfect car, an Infiniti g35! It was located in San Jose, CA. Over an hour drive since I live in Vallejo...But we made the drive and was greeted by John Bahr, the salesman...And so my adventure begins...John treated us like royalty...At his desk we did the normal back and fourth thing with the price...Finally after a while I was hungry and wanted to leave think about the price of the car and get something to eat...We were almost out the door when Rusty, G.M. came over and asked us what it would take for us to buy the car. He agreed to our original offer and we went back inside...During the signing of the papers, my boyfriend asked John if there as a 2nd key, remote, and valet key. John said "let me go check..." About 5 minutes later he came back and said "yup. They're in the car..." Just when Rusty came in and said "make sure you go thru the manual so you know how to use all the gadgets..." We thanked him and told him that John JUST came in and told us "it was all in the car"...The following day we went to pick up my car, got home, looked thru the car and found there WAS NO MANUAL OR EXTRA KEYS/REMOTE! We gave them them the benefit of the doubt and thought it was taken out during the detailing of the car. I called John and told him manual and keys were missing. He told me that he would look into it and call me back the next day...
The next came, no call, so I called him around noon...John, who was my "best friend" the day before told me that he "never said anything about manual or keys" and that "it would have required me to go outside to check and I didn't go outside...and I'm REALLY too busy to talk about this right now..." I asked to speak to Rusty, (GM) now he tells me that he will look into it and call me "right back..." That was on Monday...I called on Thursday, sent an email and finally on the weekend I get a call..."still looking into it..." was what I was told...Finally, 3 weeks into this madness I finally get my manual, but no key/remote...Instead, I'm told that "but you got a great deal on the car..." Please keep in mind that a spare key cost is $149.00 and a remote it $130.00 and to program the key and remote is $90.00...Please take my advice...Don't waste your money at Stevens Creek Hyundai...In this economy there are ALOT more dealers that will welcome you and treat you the way you SHOULD be treated!
