Sleezebags!
Tried to take advantge of my dad who is 85 by offering him $600 for a trade-in worth $2,500 (on Kelley Blue Book). Sure, it is his responsibility to know what he has and what it's worth but I'm sure that 1 out of maybe 20 people trust the saleperson and accept the offer. When I confronted the sales manager on this he said that they hadn't actually seen the car when they made this offer. This was not true but even so, what business makes an offer to buy something sight unseen. I asked him if once they saw the condition of the car and realized it was worth 3-4 times what they had offered would they then go back to the customer and give them more money? "Well, no" he said. OF COURSE "NO". That's the whole point. Take your business somewhere else.
