Steve's Valley Nursery is a private y owned nursery that carries a wide variety of plants and garden supplies. They have a huge selection of roses, trees, flowers and scrubs. The employees working there have a great knowledge of the local plant climate and will recommend what plants do best in this hot, desert area. They also have their own planting mix that can be bought by the 'scoup' that dumps into your own truck bed. The price on the mix is very reasonable and much cheaper than buying it by the bag. They also offer delivery on the mix as well as sand, gravel, planters and anything else one might need to have a successful garden.
