Stella's has been our go-to place since it's inception. We love that we can walk there! The staff is extremely attentive and polite. The food is homey and wholesome–most of it being local which is a huge draw for us. The pizza crusts are thin, and made from whole wheat flour–and oh, so good!! We have never been disappointed with a meal from Stella's. And, I could happily drown myself in their homemade pomodoro sauce. Yum!

Very small but cute restaurant especially for that area. They do alot of local good home grown types of foods. They support local charities which is nice.

My best friend was visiting from North Carolina over the weekend, so I decided to take her to Stella for dinner. We really enjoyed the experience. The service was thorough and friendly. We ordered the fritters to start - very fresh and tasty! I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and my friend ordered the Shrimp Scampi. Both of our dishes were delightful - very generous portions. Not only were the portions big, the value of the menu is unbeatable - I had enough food to take home for later. We sat outside on the patio and really enjoyed the view of the historic cemetary - very peaceful. I will definitely be back. Our waitress told us that they are serving brunch too!

My daughter and I went to Stella's and we were pleasantly surprised. The waiter was great, very attentive and the pizza was the best I ever had. My daughter had the spaghetti and meatballs and raved about the sauce. It reminded her of food she ate when she visited Italy. We had the calamari with aioli and it was very good. Not too greasy, and we enjoyed our meal and plan on taking some friends back with us.

Stella is still pretty new, and we forgave them their management/service issues when we first went. By our second visit, though, they'd been there long enough to have sorted these out: running out of specials by 7:30 pm both times, and main courses arriving within seconds after starters. The staff are youthful and trying hard, but it's not working. What was especially off-putting last time was being accosted during our meal about donating to a neighborhood cause. We don't mind supporting local efforts, but please at least wait until we've eaten a few bites (or, preferably, all) of our meals.
