St. Nicholas is a beautiful little church nestled in the shadows of downtown Houston. The people are friendly and welcoming. It seems like going home again when you are there for Mass. Great historical importance to the city and to the African American Catholics of Houston. They celebrate traditions there each Sunday like birthday blessings and blessings for all of the children at the end of the Mass. Family atmosphere.‎
