i am very happy with the hospital,i delivered two children and was very happy with the treatment,the doctors and nurses are very polite,,im pregnant for the third time and im plannig on delivering my newborn at the same hospital .....thank you st.francis hospital

This is not a good hospital to be an employee. I was a former employee of St. Francis from 1981 to 1988. I was first hired to work in the housekeeping department and in 1987 I transferred over to the x-ray department as an x-ray clerk. First, this hospital is completely against forming any employee union. They abuse their workers as they please. I was terminated as an x-ray clerk because I spoke out against the abuses that was taking place within the department. Also, during my years in the housekeeping department I am well aware of the huge rats that ran amock in the kitchen area. These rats are about the size of a small rabbit. I once was attacked by a rat as I tried to corner it for a kill and it scared the hell out of me. The hospital administration does not want a employee union in the hospital and will do what it takes to keep the union out and continue to abuse their employees as they wish.

I'D REALLY THANK GOD FOR ST. FRANCIS HOSPITAL. THEY BROUGHT MY PREMIE 3 POUND BABY BACK TO LIFE, AND I OWE THEM BIG TIME. SHE IS NOW GOING ON 3 YEARS AND IS A HEALTHY AND SMART LIL GIRL. I ALSO HAVE A 18 MONTH OLD BABY GIRL THAT IS A ST. FRANCIS BABY. SO MUCHAS GRACIAS FOR MY TWO WONDERFUL BUNDLES OF JOY ST. FRANCIS DOCTORS. THANK YOU, I ALSO WANT TO ADD THAT THEIR NURSES ARE REAL POLITE AND CARING, I DONT KNOW ABOUT THE OTHER FELLO COMPLAINING,BUT NURSES ARE STILL PEOPLE , SO TREAT PEOPLE THE SAME WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED, YOU PROBABLY CAME AT THEM WRONG OR SOMETHING.

Not the best hospital to deliver your baby at. Most nurses are rude and the nurse that helped my wife while in labor was very rude, refused to ask the doctor for pain medication and ignored what my wife was requesting. While in labor the doctor is hardly in the room they check your progress every 4 hours meanwhile you need to deal with nurses that don't know how to treat the patient.

They saved my husband. People in waiting room complaining about one hour wait for stomach ache! Go to your doc or a walk-in clinic!!! Awesome place. My husband was shot and is in a wheelchair now but is still alive. Quit whining and thank God. This is not a county hospital. They do not make any money--county at least gets government money. Thank God for St. Francis!
