what can i say
i have to agree with others here about his staff. i want to preface my review by stating that while i do believe dr. mock is very knowledgeable in the field of medicine, his bedside manner leaves something to be desired. as a female, i do not like the fact that he doesn't bring in a female assistant during exams. while i see an ob/gyn for my well woman exams, there have been times mock has examined me for other issues pertaining to personal issues. i had to specifically request that he bring in a female assistant during that exam. he acted as if he was put out by my request. it is not only to protect me, but more importantly to protect him as well. i can't believe he wouldn't follow this guideline.

my husband seems to like him, although has been put off by the fact that his test results are mailed to him and no follow up is ever really done unless you make an appointment to go in and discuss. i have never seen a doctor that doesn't take at least 3 minutes to make a phone call to let you know things were fine or to schedule a follow up if one is necessary to discuss findings.
i myself will be returning back to dr. david mabry although he no longer accepts our insurance, i am happy to pay the out of network fees to see a doctor who in my opinion is top notch and is very thorough in follow ups when needed and just in his day to day practices.
i do not think mock is a bad doctor persay, i just feel that if you are looking for a personable physician and one that will take time to make you feel as if you have walked away with all answers questioned and concerns discussed, then dr. mock is not the man for you.
