Why would you want to suffer and pay your tormenters ?
The price stated over the phone by the manager was far from the store price.
I selected a bike and and his wife really looked viciously at me when she discovered I lived in the suburbs. She asked me to sign the invoice without telling me she added a setup fee. She told me that if I object to that, how about her educating me ? She meant that she followed me in the store and pushed me into buying anything I looked at.
If you are in Chicago, proceed a few miles south-east to the Village Cycle Center where you'll meet professionals and pay less.
Reading the other comments I can see that it was not just a bad hair day but a chronic pathological bahavior on their part.

Hostile service.
I don't know how this shop survived so long in the business. I live in that neighborhood and every time I went there I felt like I was unwelcome, even worse I felt like that dude was hostile towards me. Don't try to ask him for advice cause he may just laugh at you (he did it one time when I asked about free tune ups after purchase of new bike - something that almost every shop offers now in one way or the other). I swear I will never step my foot in there again. There are plenty of other friendly bike shops around (Rudy's or Get a Grip - although this one seems very expensive

The worst customer service ever - please AVOID this store
The store has wide selection but horrible customer service. That store has the worst customer service ever. The store manager is very rude and arrogant for no reason. Any given questions about products were answered back with big favor almost to the point that I was getting impression of waisting his time. If you ask for price match with other stores you will hear yes, but on the end of the deal you will learn that you have no 30day free check up service and you will be charge set up fee of $30.00. Please AVOID this store and you will not regret.

terrible service
We walked into this place looking to buy a road bike and walked right back out! The service was hostile and rude...Only when we were walking out of the store did (the owner?) the sales staff act interested in us as customers. We are avid bikers and this place is so close to our house, but will we will never go back. We have not recommended this bike store to our friends. I have 4 bikes and would have been happy to have a bike store in the neighborhood. Bummer.

Good selection, bad service
Good selection of bikes, bad selection of accessories. The service here is not good at all--almost slightly hostile to the clientele. Questions are answered without elaboration and taking a bike on a test drive is met with suspicion. I'd avoid--there are several others in the area that are much better.
