I have not been here in a while, and that is a big shame, but what I do remember is , we had bought an incredible collection of old Reggae and 80s music for our back in time party, and maybe the prices were not the lowest , but the selection was FABULOUS, need to stop in soon !

It's official...Spin Records in Carlsbad has usurped Lou's Records for the best Music store in North County. I found this place while on a random bike ride through Carlsbad. It's just off the famous Carlsbad Village Dr downtown area of C-bad.

After resigning myself to the fact that Lou's in Encinitas couldn't satisfy my Vinyl craving, I stumbled across Spin Records and never looked back. Their prices are a little on the pricey side, especially for used vinyl, but the selection is second to none. I have found a GREAT record in there every single time I've been in there.

The staff is pretty knowledgeable, and always helpful if you want to listen to something before buying it. The only knock I can give this place is that they keep all their vinyl records behind the counter, so just make sure you take a look at any vinyl before you buy it.

Went in to trade in some cd's for store credit. Thought I " might " get 30 bucks worth. Wound up getting $70. Very fair in there pricing & very nice people. ...

Spin Records is a stand-alone building in Carlsbad that has an incredible selection of new and used music. Its jam-packed with everything from classical to heavy metal. The staff all seem to know and enjoy music, and are very good at finding whatever youre looking for. Its well organized, everything in order within genre. Its a great place for people who are into music.
