OK bedside manner but lack of knowledge by L R. at InsiderPages
When you can't see the Dr. you have to see the Nurse practitioner who is very nice, but misdiagnosed my 4 month old and wanted to give him an asthma med not even FDA regulated (as she told me and that I could do the research, but they give it to infants all the time)--he didn't even cough in her office nor does he have asthma!!! Also, wait at least an hour or more every time I go there--way too long with a crying infant who needs to eat and sleep. Not sure about the whole temper thing--they have both taken time to answer my questions, but not sure getting good quality care. Plus not sure place it very clean. When called to discuss situation nurse said only nurse practioner would call me back, and when asked to talk to Dr she said he doesn't call patients/clients back. As a result never got a call back from Dr. or anyone!!!! Will be switching doctors now!!!!

please read!!! by concerned p. at InsiderPages
Do no use this good for nothing pediatrician. He was very rude and has no respect. When my wife, dad, and me took our son (grandson) to Dr. Kevin Windisch's office, we we're treated like trash because we had no insurance. The nurse had such a bad attitude and gave us such a nasty look like we did something wrong. When our son got his checkup, the doctor did not give us any details on his diagnosis, which was supposed to be bronchiolitis, until we has asked him what was wrong. He demanded that he see our son two days later and that he already has scheduled it without knowing that we might have a hard time making it because i have two jobs. Right then, we miss that appointment and we get a phone call from his staff saying that they will have to charge us, we said fine but don't schedule us any further and we do not want to go back to that office. The following week, Dr. Windisch calls and threatens my wife that he will notify a social worker from child services that they can take our child way. I believe that this doctor has to be out of his mind to do something like that especially to his clients. Let it be known that this so called doctor is very bad news, do not see this doctor for the sake of the children.

He is always there for my family by ellen c. at InsiderPages
Dr. Windisch is always there when we need him, even on short notice. If it wasn't for his skill and expertise my son would still be sitting around and not oustside being a boy and having fun. His ability to diagnose and treat asthma has given our family back its fun and my son is not afraid that he won't be able to breathe. Dr Windisch adjusts his medicines for flares and keeps him healthy. In 9 years he is the ONLY doctor we have found with this skill AND caring.

Unprofessional Doctor! STAY AWAY
Today I called Dr. Windisch's office telling them that I took my son to his old pediatrician in California for his asthma recheck....we were out of town and couldn't make it back up to Sparks for the appointment. I thought I was communicating well with his office about keeping them informed about my son's health. Obviously not, I was told by the nurse AND Dr. Windisch so rudely on the phone, that I have established with that pediatrician because I took him there... and that I can go to his office. He was basically letting us go as clients! He told me to go see my old pediatrician and hung up on me! I then called back, explaining the situation further to the nurse and requested to speak again to Dr. Windisch when she said I couldn't talk with him. Then I said that I would come down to the office to speak with him...the nurse informed me that she would call the police for trespassing...this is ridiculous! This office is crazy along with Dr. Windisch obviously has anger problems and is very possessive....someone else checking up on his diagnosis.... I'm really in shock about what happened today....I can really see how much Dr. Windisch cares about his patients when he can tell them off and hang up the phone...
