I' ve never had a better series of haircuts. The first time I called for an appointment i did not ask for anybody in particular, but Erin was available. So by luck, I had her as my stylist. I would never switch.

I would recommend this place to any of my friends or family! I got a facial, body scrub with a vichy shower, and a polish change (which was more like a mini-pedicure!) all done by Erin. All of the staff there was so professional and nice! Prices are very reasonable

As a salon and spa-goer at Spa-Uptown for over 2 years, I can assure you that I have never been disappointed with their service, staff, or the overall experience. As a college student, and especially as a beauty pageant contestant, looking my best at every moment is a necessity. Staying on top of the current trends, and always making sure my hair styles and color match my personality and lifestyle is essential!

This is why I have chosen Spa-Uptown. The stylists know who you are as a person. They want to know your personality, your daily routine, your likes and dislikes, so when they cut, color, or style your hair they are sure that it will not only work for your everyday life, but that you look and feel fabulous when you step out of their chair. As Kim has said many times: "That's my name walking around on your head." They take pride in their work, and they will do whatever it takes to ensure your happiness with it.

There are so many salons who can simply cut and color your hair if you take them a picture of a particular style or idea. But at Spa-Uptown, they sit with you to discuss what length might work a bit better to frame your face, or what color might need tweaked a bit to compliment your eyes. The personal attention is what really guarantees that when you walk out of their salon you can say with pride that Spa-Uptown is your salon of choice.

Along with a fabulous team of hair stylists, is their wonderful Spa staff! No only have I had my hair done with Kim, but I have had the opportunity to get massages, body scrubs, and pedicures. I must say that it is The Best way that I could recommend to relax or decompress after a stressful week. (Or just to treat yourself to pampering!)

The atmosphere inside the spa area is incredibly serene. Once you have stepped through their doors you will forget immediately that you are in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh's busy streets. You are encouraged to take your time to relax and truly enjoy every moment that you spend in the spa. And if I might recommend a service, their body scrubs are my favorite way to fight back against dull winter skin!

Overall, I do not think that anyone could be disappointed with Spa-Uptown. Geri has assembled a team of experts who are unrivaled! And upon leaving I assure you that you can say with pride that you look and feel your best thanks to Spa-Uptown!

For many years I found myself going to the same JOB SHOP salons, receiving the same haircut and color as the person before me, now things have changed. At Spa Uptown the customer does matter! Each customer feels like they are treated as an indivual and not simply ANOTHER HAIRCUT AND COLOR! It is truly a pleasant experince from the moment you open the door and are greeted by the friendly ladies at the front desk until you look at the mirror at the NEW YOU, that one of the stylist has transformed you into!
