I love the Sovereign! I casn't say enough about this bar. All my friends are sick of me talking about it so I had to go online. This place is great. Cheap beer, wonderful staff and great customers. This is homebase for me. If I am going out I always stop at the Sovereign before and usally after. You have to check this place out if your in Edgewater.

I thought that the Sovereign was going to be a pretty scary old mans bar from the outside but I was totally wrong. Not only is it the cheapest place to drink in Edgewater they also have a decent selection of beers in bottles. They have a great jukebox with everything from the Allman Brothers to Snoop Dog. The bartenders are funny and very friendly. The place is never very crowded but it should be, everyone should try this place out. Ok, Ok, just one more thing they always have FREE pool.
