I lost $1100 and Andy didn't fix a thing! The worst and most dishonest place ever! Stay away from this shanty saab business and go to a real SAAB repair shop. Andy will quote you a good deal to get you in the shop, once, he's started working on your car, he'll raise the price for several hundred dollars!! When I came in for a problem in in my 96 SAAB 900, I didn't know whether it was the clutch or the transmission, Andy said it was the clutch and ended up being the transmission, I found this after I had paid him $1100 cash to fix the problem.

I'm in the process of getting my money back from this liar, and even when I tried to work out a refund payment plan, he's only made one out of five

This guy is a straight-up liar. When you call to get an estimate he'll quote you a great deal over the phone, once you leave the car in the shop he'll raise the cost of the repairs without telling you upfront! And you can't back out once ne's ordered you the parts, since he's already spent half your money.

Andy (South Bay Saab) has been an ideal mechanic for my Saab experience. Over two year's time, he has resurrected my '88 900 turbo convertible and provide great expertise and pricing that you don't get with most mechanics, especially European cars. If you're lucky he even provides a loaner car free of charge! I am glad to know such a dependable mechanic.

South Bay is the ONLY facility that cares about your budget and with 15-years experience, is very knowledgeable and competent. <br />

having been an auto tech for nearly 30 years myself, I am very reluctant to take MY OWN vehicles anywhere.
But since acquiring my first Saab just a few months ago and knowing very little about these unique vehicles I needed some sound advice from a knowledgeable Saab tech.

He runs his shop exactly as I would run mine.
