unforgiveable disappointment
When you hire a DJ to run the music at a wedding you expect they get the music you want. Instead at my daughters wedding recently this DJ not only had her try to burn a CD for him, he never tried to play it until it was time for her to walk down the aisle. 2 or 3 days before her wedding he finally shows up to get this CD and then never checked it to make sure it was useable. She burned 5 songs that were special to her and her groom on a 100 hour CD and then the DJ didn't hear it so he just put on whatever he had in his inventory. This DJ does not think this is any big thing because hey he got the rest of the night right!! I do feel think any bride and groom should have to pay a professional their fee if that professional couldn't find it important enough to make sure the requested music was good to go at 1 to 2 weeks BEFORE time to walk down the aisle. Not only did they not get their special songs but they still had to pay him for this disappoinment. Brides and Grooms beware, this DJ only wants to make his money, he cares nothing about whether or not he has what you want to make your special day a unforgetable memory. she has a disappointing memory of what was to be the happiest day of her life. I plan to do whatever it takes to make everyone know how he jacked this day up for her. His biggest concern was how close he was going to be able to set up to the open bar. My daughter will never be able to get this day back. I don't want any other brides or grooms and their families to have such a bad result on their wedding day. He should have refunded her money and settled for whatever tips he made for the night. He did not perform the job she hired him for. The whole important part of this night was the part he messed up. In this event the DJ let the customer down and can never be fixed.
