The quote he provided for the tint of my choice was right in line with what I had read online. Made an appointment, dropped off the car- it was ready in 1 hour. The sales person/ receptionist did not seem very knowledgable so it was a good thing I had done all my research online and knew what I wanted. She did not explain anything. The first surprise was that the owner had not included tax in his verbal quote even though I specifically asked. Hence my total turned out $35 higher. Fine. Second surprise- he failed to tell me the quote did not include my front window. I guess I should have known this but I've never had a car tinted before. The front window would have been an additional $150. One week after the film dried a lot of the bubbles remainded. When I called the shop I was told to bring the car in to have a look. Pulp fiction sounds just like that. I have had Robert tint every single car I have owned since he opened his business in the 90's. I have never had a job bubble. Best materials and most competent installers. I have actually asked him to provide me with a window sticker so that anyone who sees his quality job on my cars can know immediately where to get a job done just like mine. There is an extended drying time from what I undersand on the ceramic film. Robert stands behind his work and if a customer is not pleased he is there to correct any problem. Sometimes to get the best you have to drive a little bit or wait a little bit, or even yes, be inconvenienced a little bit. But getting the best and having no troubles, ever, is worth it. I think if Robert listed his many highend, middle of the road, and just regular satisfied customers, the good would outweigh the bad over 99:1. After being recommend by my sales person at a Coral Gables dealership, I decided to go to Solar Tint in South Miami. I was very surprised by the staff knowledge and experience. They were very helpfull and made the wait (about an hour) very pleasent. After tinting my Audi with them, I just decided to tint my house for heat protection. It's being 3 weeks and I really feel a difference.‎
