DON'T GO FOR A LASH TINT!
I had the worst eye lash tint I've ever had here. I've been tinting my lashes for ten years, and more or less it's a similar process even though I've probably had it done in 5 different countries. The woman who did my tint started out ok, gave me a hand massage (pretty usual) while I waited the 12 minutes. But when it came time to clean up the dye, she gave my eyes a cursory wipe, then handed me a tissue "just in case" she said. I could tell my lashes were covered in dye. I'd asked her to be careful not to rub the skin under my eyes as I'd had a peel and the skin was still a little pink. But that had nothing to do with cleaning my lashes. When I commented that it was stinging and I didn't think she was doing it properly, she said it was how she always did it. When I asked her to rinse my eyes, as they normally do with cotton soaked in water, she handed me a wet tissue for me to do it myself. She then said that some people seem to like to rinse their eyes in the sink. Huh? I can see why, since their eyes must be on fire. So, without being able to see very well with all the dye in my eyes, I had to go and wash my eyes out at the sink, reaching behind me for her to hand me tissues so I could wipe my eyes. Not a nice experience. On a side note, they also play a radio pretty loud, so instead of a serene and relaxing atmosphere, you are bombarded with commercials on the radio. They might be ok for tanning, but it's not the place to go for a lash tint. One last thing, when I asked for a towel she didn't have any, (and this is a spa?), and the pillow case I was lying on still had hairs on it from another client.
