This is really a combination of a bar & a billiard place. They have a lot of tables. They also serve food but I've never eaten there. It's very nice, definitely upscale and fun. Plenty of room to play pool without bumping into people.

My wife and I were out visiting my brother for the weekend and decided to go to the round table pizza on garnet ave on the 26th of September afterword's we walked down the street to the society billiard cafe on 1051 garnet ave everything was fine till my brother had to move his truck at about 9:30pm so he would not get a parking ticket and when he proceeded to come back inside less than 5 minutes later to a rather empty establishment they would not let him in because he had no I'd.They had taken it as a deposit for the use of the pool balls, at this point the door man started being very rude and using profanity towards my brother then the door man walked away and my brother which he's almost 40 years old walked in to go sit and wait till they figured it out and then the door man turned around grabbed him and used pepper spray on my brother and hand cuffed him wile the over spray hit other patrons in the cafe.Then I was approached and was told he would be going to jail if I didn't Pay my bill and leave.I was dumbfounded at what just happened,could not believe what happened even our waitress could not believe what happened so I payed the bill and then tended to my brother who could not see from being pepper sprayed.This is a extreme use of force and would like this person to be relieved of his job and a apology.

Reasonably priced grub , decent table prices, I suggest bringing your own cues as the house sticks are a tad lame. Full Bar, Juke box could use some Sinatra

I absolutely love this place! Its so nice looking, and not a seedy dive bar where you usually expect to play pool. The tables are really nice, and they have a full bar and waitresses who come around and check on you. Its a little pricey per hour, but if you go with 3 or 4 people and split it its really not that bad.
