Before going on my vacation, I checked at least eight local kennels to make sure that my two dogs were left in a safe, clean, comfortable setting. When I drove through the gate at Smith Ranch Kennel I knew my search was over. The kennels met all the criteria I had in mind. The owners are friendly and competent,and they personally oversee the day-to-day operation. The kennels were clean, secure, and offered my two dogs an opportunity to share a kennel while still having the ability to stretch their legs at will via a dog run that accompanies each kennel. When I picked up my dogs, they were clean, well fed and well cared for. Believe me, I visited more than my share of terrible kennels before I found this one.
