They are very honest and ethical unlike some jewelers that berate an item if not purchased from them for up selling purposes (i have encountered this before) I have also purchased from them and they do thorough appraisals and will always let you know when something is out of their purview. They have 3 generations of family experience and I would trust their judgement. They have a down to earth no nonsense attitude.

The people at Smith Jewelers provided me with the most information on what they would do and their prices were very competitive with what others quoted me.
