DO NOT USE- YOU WILL BE SORRY I PROMISE!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL OWNER!!! I contacted Mr. Sloane about showing me a rental home. I showed up at the home and he never showed up or even bother to call me! I would never rent from any property that is rented through this company!!!

I know so many people who have had bad experiences with Sloane Realty, myself included. I rented a house from them with two roommates while in college. We paid a deposit equal to 1 1/2 months rent. When we moved out they tried to charge us over $2000 for paint and carpet. Being in property management myself, I know how much it costs to re-carpet and touch paint, and it does not exceed $4500! In addition, they were also very rude anytime we contacted them for anything. I would never even consider a home management by Sloane Realty

The owner is rude to renters and does not care about the owners property. The company does not inform owners of anything even what they consider "emergency" repairs and then charges you an alarming amount to fix items without consent or prior knowledge and expect you to pay it!

I was disappointed with the manner things were handled with this company. I felt I should have been made more aware of issues going on at my own home and not just billed for repairs.

Do NOT use this company. They are rude and unprofessional towards clients and tenants. My tenants said that Sloane Realty constantly berated them each time they talked to them. They charged me for questionable "repairs" after getting them fixed by their "in-house repairman" (who is a co-owner of the company!). I was always very skeptical of the things that they told me in regards to my rental. There are too many legit, professional and good property management companies in Charleston that you can use.
