I took guitar lesson at skips and they were great. My teacher was patient and understanding and did his best to teach me. They're a bit over priced compared to some places but its worth it.

This music store is helpful sometimes in your musical needs. They carry a lot of lower end equipment and for the experienced musician its is not helpful. Skips is over priced because business is slow and they are trying to compete with the main music dealer down the street. Because of this there prices are jacked up. The only time I have ever found Skips useful to me was in I was trying to buy some effects pedals and they sold them $10 cheaper than the other music shop.
